Playing In the Snow
Two lovers play around making snow angels. Kissing each other and rolling together, their Eskimo rubs melt the snow. Her moistened lips speak, how in the desert they’d freak for it doesn’t snow. It doesn’t snow in the desert. It doesn’t snow in the desert.
They just want to make everything all right. They sing their songs to try and soften any fright. Cause, out of sight out of mind, they can’t see it so all is fine. It doesn’t snow in the desert. It doesn’t snow in the desert. If it’s from the sky it must be a natural delight, right? Yea right!
A little boy in the desert, with young fascination, holds out his hand. What’s this falling out of the blue, some kind of shiny white dew? It’s snowing in the desert!? Why, it’s snowing in the desert!?
The child’s smile is so grand, “More! More!” he demands, as it lands. Happily he jumps and plays, but with it his skin melts away. It’s snowing in the desert. It’s snowing in the desert.
We just want to make everything all right. We sing our songs to try and soften any fright. Cause, out of sight out of mind, we can’t see it so all is fine. It’s now snowing in the desert. It’s now snowing in the desert. If it’s from the sky it must be a natural delight, right? Yea right.
Melting snow turns into welts; his burnt skin can be smelt across the lands. Out of the blue a shiny white dew melts his skin away. Out of the blue a shiny white dew melts his skin away. It’s snowing in the desert.
We just want to make everything all right. We sing our songs to try and soften any fright. Cause, out of sight out of mind, we can’t see it so all is fine. It’s snowing in the desert. It’s snowing in the desert. El nino must have caused this weather tonight, right? Yea right. It’s snowing in the desert. It’s snowing in the desert, playing in the snow.
